Squirrel Haven is a charming modern vacation rental home set among towering pines on a beautifully landscaped lot with 5 bedrooms / 3 baths, and sleeps 8 to 10 adults.  It has a lovely porch and modern kitchen, including a full-size refrigerator, electric range, clothes washer and dryer, and is just a short walk from the airport and Trinity Lake.

The house can sleep 15 people and is great for family reunions, groups and clubs.

Fully furnished with a convenient kitchen, Squirrel Haven also has a smaller unit next door which sleeps 4.

 

 

Trinity Center

Located just 45 minutes from Weaverville in historic Trinity County, California, and about 1-1/2 hours north of Redding, CA, Trinity Center has a colorful museum, tennis court, store, fuel source, restaurant and a 3,000-foot paved airstrip (no fuel).  If you fly in, your tiedown pad is adjacent to Squirrel Haven at Trinity Center Airport (Klamath Falls Sectional). But, you don't have to fly in to enjoy this peaceful hide-away.

About The Area

There are abundant water sports which include boating, swimming, water skiing and kayaking within the 145 miles of Trinity Lake shoreline.  A launching ramp and full marina are within 1-1/2 miles of Squirrel Haven.

Fishing is pleasurable in Trinity Lake as well as the many streams found entering it.  Fish found in the area include a variety of trout, large and small mouth bass, Kokanee, and Silver Salmon.

For leisurely hikes or strenuous high mountain treks, the Trinity Alps offer full views of the beautiful mountain flowers, lakes, wildlife and lofty trees.

The scenery is breath taking. Any artist or photographer, amateur or professional, will find it the perfect backdrop. Squirrels, birds and deer will keep you entertained. Peace and solitude abound while you enjoy your favorite book or football game.  Weaverville, nearby, has more extensive amenities including a golf course.  

Directions

Take Highway 5 to Redding, turn West on 299 to Weaverville or take Highway 101 to Eureka, then go East on Highway 299 to Weaverville, take Highway 3 North to Trinity Center.
